Cloud computing, smart grids and interconnected networks for CIIP
ENISA requires the provision of specialised services for projects relating to cloud computing, smart grids and interconnected networks for CIIP.
The services required have been presented as 3 lots, with the specific requirements for each lot as follows:
(a) Lot 1: cloud and CIIP: critical dependencies on cloud computing:
The objective of this study is to provide an analysis of dependencies of critical services and information infrastructure on cloud computing, to provide an risk assessment of possible cascading failures on critical services and information infrastructures and to give recommendations for policy makers and relevant stakeholders.
(b) Lot 2: minimum security measures for smart grids:
The general objectives are to provide a framework of standard controls following the completion of these tasks:
1. stocktaking of existing practices and standards;
2. analysis, comparison and mapping of the collected body of knowledge.
(c) Lot 3: good practices on rerouting and emergency communications:
The aim of this study is to assess technical issues (e.g. logical, physical, application layers, replication and diversity of services and data, data centres), peering and transit issues (e.g. SLAs), market, policy and regulatory issues.
