(hereinafter called ‘AIA’) in compliance with the Airport Development Agreement as ratified by Law 2338/1995 (Government Gazette A'202/14.09.95), is inviting insurance companies, groups of insurance companies or consortia to express their interest for the provision of Employees' Group Insurance Program Services, as further described in section II.2.1 below.

The written application should carry the indication "Application regarding the Employees’ Group Insurance Program Services" and should be addressed in case of letter to: the Athens International Airport, Procurement Department, for the attention of Mr. S. Lountzis, Administration Building (17), 190 19 Spata — Greece, in case of fax to: +30 210 35 37734 and in case of email to the following email addresses: LountzisS@aia.gr and copy to BiggerS@aia.gr and BiziaourisP@aia.gr. In this application the following information is required: — name of company making the application, address, telephone, fax number and the name of a contact person and their email address. Following the submission of their written application, applicants will receive a copy of the Tender Documents by email in order for them to prepare and submit their Proposals within the time schedule stated under Section IV.3.4. of this Contract Notice i.e. until 14/11/2016, by 15:00 hours (local time). Applicants shall bear the Tender Documents dispatch costs in case of dispatch by courier. For requirements relating to the economic and financial capacity and/or the technical and/or the professional abilities of the applicant, the latter may where necessary and for a particular contract rely on the capacity of other entities in accordance with the provisions of Article 54 (5) and (6) of Directive 2004/17/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council. The contract term will be three (3) years with the option of one (1) additional year of extension. The contract will be subject to Greek law. AIA reserves the right not to proceed with the contract at any stage of the tender process and applicants shall not be entitled to any compensation. Οικονομική και χρηματοοικονομική κατάσταση:

Proof must be provided by the applicants (in case of group of companies or consortium by each individual member) regarding their financial performance, as indicated by financial data and financial ratio analysis of the audited accounts of the previous three (3) years, as well as credit ratings, where available.

In this respect, applicants shall submit their audited financial statements for the previous three (3) fiscal years and credit rating agencies' reports where applicable.

Τεχνική και επαγγελματική ικανότητα:

Applicants shall indicate their technical and operational capacity by providing solemn declarations regarding the following:

1. Total number of Group Life, Accident, Disability and Medical Insurance contracts currently in effect, excluding affinity contracts. A threshold of at least one hundred (100) contracts will apply.

2. Total number of Group Life, Accident, Disability and Medical Insurance contracts currently covering more than 500 insured persons each (employees and dependents) excluding affinity contracts. A threshold of at least five (5) such contracts will apply which shall be evidenced by relevant references (Company name, contact person details and title).

3. Total number of persons (employees and dependents) currently insured through Group Life, Accident, Disability and Medical Insurance contracts, excluding those insured under affinity contracts. A threshold of at least fifteen thousand (15,000) insured persons will apply.

Applicants will be assessed and pre-selected on the basis of equal opportunities. Their professional credentials and reliability as well as their economic and financial ability and their technical capacity will be assessed on a go/ no-go basis according to the criteria listed above.

In case applicants form and participate in the tender as a group of companies or consortium, they may be requested to either execute a binding consortium deed or to form a capital company, prior to contract award, with joint and several liability.

Applicants may lodge an appeal before the Contracting Entity (AIA), by specifying the legal and real causes that justify their application within a deadline of ten (10) days, after taking notice in any way whatsoever of the illegal action or omission in the course of the tender. The appeal is communicated, care of the petitioner, to any entity affected by any total or partial acceptance of the appeal. No exercise of appeal versus an act, which accepts in whole or in part an appeal by another person, is required. The Contracting Entity (AIA) is obliged to decide justifiably, within a deadline of fifteen (15) days from the exercise of the appeal, and, if it renders the appeal valid, it takes the appropriate measures.

If the appeal is rejected, or no decision is taken within the deadline, the appeal is deemed to have been rejected and a petition for injunction may be lodged before the competent Courts as per provisions of Law 3886/2010.
