Fraport Regional Airports of Greece A S.A. (hereinafter called FGA) in compliance with the stipulations of the applicable legislation, intends to proceed with the selection procedure in order for the Airport Rights, in relation to the provision of Baggage handling services and/or Ramp handling services and/or Ramp handling services for In-flight catering to airport users at Kavala Airport "Megas Alexandros", to be granted to natural persons and/or companies or consortia (hereinafter called the Service Providers). The Service providers will undertake the financing, the procurement of the necessary equipment and the operation related to the provision of those services.

— the loading and unloading of the aircraft, including the provision and operation of suitable means, as well as the transport of crew and passengers between the aircraft and the terminal, and baggage transport between the aircraft and the terminal,

— the provision and operation of appropriate units for engine starting,

— the moving of the aircraft at arrival and departure, as well as the provision and operation of suitable devices (category 5 excluding 5.7, as described in Annex A of the Basic ground handling regulation (Ministerial Decision Nº Δ3/Β/16067/3831/2011, Government Gazette Β1138/2011)).

It is intended that three (3) Airport Rights in relation to the provision of Ramp Handling Services are granted.

The tender is in accordance with the stipulations of EU Directive 96/67 and its implementation into Greek Law by Presidential Decree 285/98 (Government Gazette A'207/07.09.08), the Basic ground handling regulation (Ministerial Decision Nº Δ3/Β/16067/3831/2011, Government Gazette Β1138/2011) and Kavala Airport's Local ground handling regulation (Ministerial Decision Nº Δ3/Β/23723/8851/2017, Government Gazette Β4170/2017, as amended by Ministerial Decision Nº Δ3/Β/18506/5577/2018, Government Gazette Β3544/2018).

Εκτέλεση της σύμβασης

The tenderers will be asked to submit with their proposals a Participation letter of guarantee, to be returned following signing of the contract, in accordance with the terms and conditions of the tender documents. Upon signing of the contract, the awarded Service providers will submit a Performance letter of guarantee. In addition, the Service providers will depose a Guarantee under the terms of a Lease agreement to be entered into. Details are provided in the tender documents.

All parties interested in participating in the tender process are requested to send an expression of interest statement with an email to the attention of Mrs. E. Mouchti (email address: e.mouchti@fraport-greece.com) copy to Mr. M. Leledakis (email address: m.leledakis@fraport-greece.com) expressing their interest to participate. The expression of interest statement shall include name of tenderer, contact person, email address and telephone number as well as the lots for which the tenderer is interested. After the submission of the expression of interest, the parties will receive the tender documents following the execution of a Non-disclosure agreement which will be sent to them upon their request.

Official language of the tender is English, except for documents that may be accepted in Greek as provided in the tender documents. In addition, certificates and official documents that are provided in Article 4 of the Basic ground handling regulation shall be submitted in Greek language as per the stipulations of such Regulation.

Tenderers must be established within the European Union, as provided in Article 4.5 of the Basic ground handling regulation.

Tenderers may be requested to supply additional information and attend interviews.

Fraport Greece reserves the right to terminate the tender process or not proceed with the contract at any stage of the tender process.

The tender will be subject to Greek Law.
