The survey services (Detailed Marine Survey) are required to supply the necessary high resolution route and geohazards survey data to support the completion of an engineering design program sufficient to support an EPC tender process for construction of the offshore segments of the East Med pipeline system.
The marine system comprises four submarine sections:
(i) source to Cyprus;
(ii) Cyprus to Crete;
(iii) Crete to (mainland) Greece;
(iv) Gulf of Patras crossing.

The EastMed Pipeline is a project of an offshore/onshore natural gas pipeline that will directly link the recently discovered off-shore gas reserves in the Levantine Basin (Cyprus and Israel) to the inlet point of the Poseidon Pipeline to transport the gas to Italy.
